This policy explains how AUTO PARTNERS III LLC collects, uses and protects information when you contact us, request a quote, or receive our services. We serve business clients, so the information we handle is primarily business contact and transaction data.
01 Information we collect
Business contact details you provide (name, dealership, phone, email, dealer license number); the content of your requests, including vehicle criteria, VINs, run lists and documents; transaction and invoicing records; and basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
02 How we use information
To respond to inquiries and prepare quotes; to perform the requested services; to invoice and keep accounting records; to communicate service updates; and to meet legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations.
03 Legal basis
We process information to perform our contract with you, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and to comply with applicable law. Where consent is required we ask for it, and you may withdraw it at any time.
04 Sharing with third parties
We share only what is necessary with providers acting on our behalf or on your instruction: auctions and auction platforms, history report providers, transport carriers, title and DMV agents, payment processors, accountants and IT providers. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
05 Vehicle and document data
VINs, condition reports, titles and related documents you send are used solely for the engagement they relate to. Copies are retained in the client file as evidence of the work performed and to support any later title or compliance question.
06 Retention
We keep client and transaction records as long as needed to provide the services and thereafter for the period required by applicable tax, corporate and motor vehicle recordkeeping rules. Inquiry data from parties who do not become clients is deleted when no longer needed.
07 Security
We use access controls, encrypted transmission for online forms, limited staff access on a need-to-know basis, and vetted providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
08 Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, ask for a copy of your records, or opt out of non-essential communications, subject to our legal retention obligations.
09 Cookies
The site uses strictly necessary cookies and basic aggregated analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; core pages continue to function.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date below shows the current version, and material changes are communicated to active clients.
